BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

There are 70MM sports parents in our country who are frustrated by the lack of player feedback from their kids’ coaches…which is especially upsetting when many are spending thousands of dollars a year on sports.  Our early-stage mobile platform, and proprietary database of well-defined sports skills is helping youth sports teams share coach feedback, improve player development and increase parent engagement.

JOB

If you have been part of a team that launched new mobile products and scaled them, we want to get to know you.  If you are a “take-no-prisoners” growth hacker, that can get the biggest leagues, companies or organizations to partner with us, we want you.  We are looking for a hard-working, adaptive and confident Business Development Manager to manage our sales efforts and partnerships.  This is a remote position, so you will need to be self-motivated and disciplined. You will be working directly with the Founder/CEO, Technical Co-Founder and new sales team.  Responsibilities include:

  • Leading development and implementation of sales and partnership strategy
  • Serving as primary contact for partners and large customers such as teams, clubs, leagues, schools
  • Managing sales initiatives including generating leads, training sales staff, delivering product demos and tracking results
  • Actively pursuing PR, publicity and speaking engagements for our founders
  • Relentlessly pursuing partnerships with professional youth sports leagues, training companies, travel sports clubs, pro sports teams, sports retailers, sports news companies and other SportsTech companies
  • Remaining 1000% focused on growth and traction of our technology and our brand message

REQUIREMENTS

  • Absolutely must have a “growth hacking” mentality….we find small windows of opportunity and attack them with zeal to get big results.
  • 5-10 years of diverse sales and partnership experience, seeing products through stages from launch to maturity
  • Startup experience, preferably in the areas of mobile, social, big-data or video
  • Ability to work a non-traditional schedule at times (startup hours) to ensure we are able to meet deadlines with a small team
  • Strong, proven, sales and partnership skills and references to back them up
  • Impeccable ability to recognize and create win-win relationships with customers and partners
  • Strong business writing skills and ability to communicate with founders and tech staff
  • Analytical acumen and proficiency in using many sales platforms and performance tracking tools

DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING

If you have helped companies develop new mobile products, QA, launch and scale them, we want to get to know you.  We are looking for a hard-working and proven Director of Engineering to manage our product development and infrastructure.  This is a remote position, so you will need to be self-motivated and disciplined. You would be working directly with the Founder/CEO, Technical Co-Founder and small development team (including off-shore resources).  Responsibilities include:

  • Actively participate in Business Value Assessments and Business Requirements elaboration phases
  • Take a lead role in the requirements, design and construction phases to lead to successful delivery of new features/products
  • Actively lead complex design and be a key anchor on the design of various software projects
  • Manage and work with a team of junior developers (domestic and off-shore)
  • Implement a disciplined QA process for new feature/product roll-outs
  • Ensure collection and processing of customer product feedback
  • Ensure that systems are built for change, scale, reuse

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-10 years of application development experience, seeing products through stages from launch to maturity
  • Startup experience, preferably in the areas of mobile, social, big-data or video
  • Ability to work a non-traditional schedule at times (startup hours) to ensure we are able to meet deadlines with a small team
  • Strong, proven, technical skills and understanding of open source tools and platforms (including client, cloud, web and DevOps technologies, as well as Agile)
  • Demonstrated technical acumen and ability to learn and teach others about cloud platforms
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both startup founders and technical staff
  • Passion for technology and software development
  • Understands the rules management and associated tools such as export & import tools, skimming and bulk processing tools
  • Understands the scalability and reuse aspects of the application in development and can provide and evaluate enterprise class structure that is scalable and extensible
  • Proficient at elaborating use cases, able to evaluate low level and high level design
  • Familiarity with AWS, XML, REST, Web Services, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, Jquery, Javascripting, AngularJS, MYSQL, integration with external APIs and grid system for working with responsive UIs

If you have successfully launched new mobile products, and marketed and scaled them, we want to get to know you.  If you are a “take-no-prisoners” growth hacker, that can turn a start-up ad budget into Under Armour-like results, we want you.  We are looking for a hard-working, adaptive and proven Marketing Manager to manage our range of marketing activities.  This is a remote position, so you will need to be self-motivated and disciplined. You will be working directly with the Founder/CEO, Technical Co-Founder and outside marketing vendors.  Responsibilities include:

  • Leading development and implementation of brand identity and marketing strategy
  • Serving as primary contact for our marketing vendors/partners
  • Managing marketing initiatives including social media, advertising, email, newsletter, events
  • Actively driving the customer feedback loop
  • Immersing yourself in our marketing results and analytics
  • Remaining 1000% focused on growth and traction of our technology and our brand message

REQUIREMENTS
