Halftime Heroes: Lyndsey Fry
We were certain you would want to hear from Lyndsey Fry not just because she’s a former Harvard hockey player, Olympian, and sports broadcaster, but equally important because she has been a trailblazer for girls’ youth hockey. In this interview with our CEO Ian Goldberg, Lyndsey shared her experiences playing ice hockey as a child, growing up an elite hockey player, and then working hard to provide young women more hockey opportunities than she had.
Lyndsey then discussed the challenges of coaching youth sports, including setting clear expectations and maintaining a positive environment. Ian and Lyndsey also discussed the challenges faced by youth hockey programs, including communication and consistency issues.
