MLB superstar Johnny Damon knows how hard it is to be a sport parent these days, not only because he has eight kids of his own, but also because Johnny is helping president Trump roll out his National Youth Sports Strategy. So I was honored when the National Alliance for Youth Sports invited me to join Johnny Damon for an interview talking about the latest trends in youth sports and how we can make it a better experience for everyone involved.

In this video, Johnny and I talk about:

  • Studying the psychology and physiology of being a sideline parent.
  • The importance of encouraging kids to train in multiple sports and rest during an off season.
  • Why it’s important to let kids experience adversity and fail.
  • How to chill out and enjoy our kids ball games.

iSport360 is working hard every day to change the culture in youth sports.  So check out some of our other blog articles or start your free trial with the iSport360 platform  to foster healthy communication and culture for your team or club.
